Ziara Bittman

She joined Farrell & Patel on July 2016 as Law Clerk and now she is an Associate of the firm. Ms. Bittman attended the University of Puerto Rico, where she obtained her bachelor’s degree cum-laude in phycology in 2011. That same year she started attending the Pontifical University of Puerto Rico, Law School, were she obtained her JD in 2014.

While in law school, she participated as a Research Assistant for the Professor Manuel Izquierdo Encarnación, in his book “Introducción al Derecho Administrativo”. In addition, she was a Tutor for the Contract Class as part of an academic program for students. She was part of the National Association of Law Students (ANED) as well as member of the PRO BONO program. In her last year, she served as a student attorney in the Criminal Minor division of the Legal Aid Clinic of the Pontifical Catholic University of Puerto Rico School of Law, where she represented minors on criminal cases. In her last semester, she did her Legal Clinic in Legal Services of Puerto Rico, where she provided legal representation to indigent members of the community in civil matters. She expanded her writing experience by writing very successful Appellative writs. Prior to obtaining her law degree, Ms. Bittman served as an intern in the Department of Consumer Affairs. She was admitted to the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico in February of 2015, in addition she is a Civil Law Notary.

Prior to joining Farrell & Patel Law Firm, Ms. Bittman worked in the US Bankruptcy Court District of Puerto Rico. She is a member of the Puerto Rico Bar Association.
