A family in Phenix City, Alabama is offering a $1,000 reward for the return of their daughter’s therapy dog. It is assumed that the two-year-old Doberman pinscher, Lona, had been stolen from their yard.
The dog is the registered therapy dog for Dalene Parks, who has cerebral palsy. She says that the dog was given to her to provide emotional support in helping her deal with daily life.
